The broken heart has nowhere to hide,
and paves the way to the broken mind.

Beware the organ that pumps life and pain,
through every artery, through every vein.

For once it's misery reaches the mind,
rhyme or reason you will not find.

Every day a chore, no pleasure in life,
no task or activity will suffice.

Time is your enemy, the clock ticks slow,
you hope and wait for your strength to grow.

One day you awaken and time is your friend,
