What if one moment you decide
To write your thoughts from time to time
And as on paper they collide
They make more sense, they even rhyme.

You write about the years that passed,
about the people you have met.
You write about how time goes by so fast
about how it still won't allow you to forget.

You write about your joy, about your sorrow,
about your every single breath's detail
You write about the smile you want to borrow,
about the smile you try to fake, and fail.

You write about the dreams that you once had,
about how life turned out and how you live now.
You write about the things that make you sad,
about the change you'd like to make, but don't know how.

You write about the empty people all around,
about the blame you try to bury deep inside.
You write about the traces you leave on the ground,
about the places where you have tried to hide.

You write about how others robbed you of your feelings,
about the day they left, without once looking back
You write about how you left others staring at their ceilings,
about moments that made you whole, and now you lack.

You write about the person you once were
about the one you are now, wearing this frown
You write until all words will blur
about the dictionary's every single noun.

You write about how we all rise, and yet again we fall,
about the smoke that comes out from your joint,
