Murderess

Allow me to impart a tale or two
If you have but a moment it shall only take a few
This is a tale of a distant regret...
Yet no matter how long, I shall never forget

A story of a lie unintentionally harmful
With a finish described only as dreadful
A child is born, beautiful but twisted
Hard to imagine such evil existed

She goes through life knowing nothing but malice
Becomes a young woman who is quite callous
Another's life isn't worth while
She takes it from them with a malevolant smile

Befriends a madman in hopes for more power
Kills without mercy, a deadly little flower
Seeking a knowledge long since hidden
Given it's nature, it has been forbidden

She pays the price no matter the cost
Her sanity is gone, her soul lost
One might ask, 'What regret is thine? '
To which I reply, 'The child is mine...'
