Grandma :)

When I was two,
I first met you
I was small,
And you loved me.
You saw my eyes
and saw adventure,
You saw my past,
and saw hurt.
Even though
I meant the world to you,
You couldn't be in this world
With me
I know things happen
for a reason,
But
what was the reason
for you leavin'?
You took care of me,
that's all that mattered.
You loved and nurtured me,
until you left...
Grandma i need you more
than the sky needs rain,
I miss you more
than the clouds of grey.
The words you spoke to me
are left
and sharper than a knife.
I wish you were still
in my life.
Life is long and the roads
are tough,
and i still remember
your voice of lust.
You told me
to never
give up on life.
And I wished I could thank you,
before you
died.
