A Poor Girl's Dreams That Glitter In The Dark

Holding your head up high Is not easy when you are looked down upon…………..
It's inevitable to not deny…the fault is your own.
She knows she owns the dream she knows she has the desire
But she also knows where she belongs and what she is afraid to try…
The world that she finds mesmerising from the different angles she sees..
Where people are chasing their dreams...and in that glory they sparkle..
It makes her look upon herself only to find herself in shackles …..
But the chains that keep her bound are not of steel and iron…
They are much stronger and are now rusty….built of superstitions and delusions
She pulls at it tugs at it..bruises herself but fearlessness reaches an end…alas! She has to bend….
So all she can do is dream on and on that if not herself.. but the life that would be born..
She lives with this hope and dies with it too…that her dreams will come true..
And in the world of fallacies she struggles her life through…
The initial fire of fury turns into a flame of faith
That glows and glitters…in the dark……… burns till late…
