The Name's Shane and thank you for taking the time to read my poetry and appreciate the art of expression. I was born and raised in Michigan. High school in a small country town and then I went to college in a city near Detroit. All of my life I have aspired to be many things involving with the arts: Actor, musician, entertainer, martial artist, singer, dancer, but my best and foremost skill is writing and poetry is my most natural outlet. I have always been both physically and mentally active growing up, becoming a 'Jack of All Trades', but never truly finding a way to integrate my talents into one thing. This is my current mission and I believe this to be the mission of anyone and everyone who takes the philosophical journey in life. I hope that my poetry not only inspires something within you, but grants a culmination to your mind with every word. Enlightenment is attained through awareness and patience. These two come from self-control. These poems hopefully, and continuously stir this within you. Once again thank you for taking the time to read my work. One Love always.
Even the greatest moments, calmest actions, most peaceful energy, would be unable to tear it off once it sticks
it winds you up for everything and causes one to just pace instead
Eyes get dizzy from observation of another's and can assimilate the same hold
Tension continues to escalate and bottling it up only makes the explosion imminent

As swift as they come our reality strikes
we try to define what is around us instead of just existing
we're always asking who made us and what goes beyond the stars
I used to question it all until I realized the truth

Thunder in the stomp and lightning in the palms
Heavy and dense, the collision is coming on
Strong surges coursing through as the motions expand the mass
Intimidation in the fierce force of augmentation beyond grasp

The working man gets home at night
after working nine to nine
He's trying to make it

Ink bleeds and sets in,
but the paper can be burned by a candle lit fire
To hold treasure in boxes and bones in gold crates
