it starts through the ears
breaks past the skull
infects the mind
through the arteries

It's okay we'll get through please don't cry I know it's true,
you hate this part so do I no matter what please don't die,
there's a lot of pain in this world, I've known this since I was a little girl,
we'll grow up and everything will be alright I'm sure it just might,

When will this girl get over her pain,
when will she see the rainbow after the rain,
when will her life have the twist it deserves,
and will it all change and leave behind no preserves,
