Two Eyes Open

I've always made sure that i made the last laugh,
but that's landed me a seat in hell.
all the people and their worries, because i don't do them well.
I'm never going to be perfect,
and I'll never tell them the truth.
I don't deserve kindness,
to them im an organ to disect.
After awhile you believe them,
and it's left me to fend for myself.
and i know now that there is no hope left for men.
So I'll be here with two fists up,
and run away from pain.
because I've got no coping skills,
no hope left for me to gain.
it's not too bad being alone,
there is only heart ache and regret.
of all the things you've done to them,
and all the times you've ruined goals they set.
so i won't keep my chin up,
but ill sleep with two eyes open,
ill only watch my back,
im alone and abused,
like a factory hen.
