Midnight

Midnight
The clock ticks away
Like a record on replay, spinning all day.
Midnight
I have not slept a wink
With no dreams and no love,
And I'm starting to think.
It's dark in here, and the sheets are too tight
The walls around are creaking, I swear I'm losing my mind.
The night seems to move
Curling all around, blocking the moon...
When all of a sudden
The Son's hand appears
And as darkness flees light
It's midnight
I'll sleep well tonight.
