Shanu Goyal Biography

This is Shanu Goyal, born on 28th September 1974 in a small town of Uttar Pradesh, India. I’ve been writing poems since age of 12. I’m a postgraduate in Business Administration by qualification, Personality Development Trainer by profession and a Reiki healer by interest. Poetry to me is divine. It is a medium through which I vent my hidden emotions. My poems have been published in many International Journals and Anthologies like- Forward Press (U.K) , Voicesnet, Taj Mahal Review. Many of my poems are also accepted for online publications at- Voicesnet.com, Forwardpress.co.uk, Lavendermist.co.uk, Cornerpoetry.com, poetry.com, Brightlight Café, Jbstillwater.com, Muse India, trans4mind.com etc. At Forward Press (U.K) , I’m a featured poet of 2008. I’ve authored ‘Silence Speaks’, in 2005, which is a collection of poems written in different moods. I’m also a life member of The Poetry Society of India.)

Packet From Heaven

Now that you are in my arms,
My days are filled with joy.
All your expressions are priceless,
For you are a wonder toy.

When you open your curvy rosy lips,
You make my day.
When you blink your twinkling eyes,
Thousand stories they say.

You are my treasure,
Moments with you make me ecstatic.
Your tiny hands when touch mine,
You become even more magnetic.

All words are too few,
To describe your magic spell.
With your soft velvety touch,
So many things you tell.

You speak in your own language,
Still you say so much.
You make me spell bound,
Your mesmeric charm is such.
