She sat in the corner,
She had no name,
She was vain,

I know we met not long ago,
But I thought id write a poem for thee,
You need to know how much I care,
And that id travel anywhere,

You haven’t changed,

You never show,
You were never there,

The Silent Girl

She sat in the corner,
She had no name,
She was vain,

And as for her home life,
It was not the same,

As other students went home,
And looked forward to their tea,
She was scared and shaking,
Hungry and lonely,
Crying after,
Another mistfull night,

At school the next day,
She was covered in bruises,
Somebody noticed,
But did not request,

The following day there was sirens, flashing lights and all,
Students talked and whispered,
About the bloody gale,

As the body bag came out,
Everything went quiet,
It seemed like a lifetime,
As time stood still,

Police asked questions,
Took notes as well,
And someone remembered,
How the silent girl was bruised,
She should have asked or she should have tolled,

When she tolled the cops,
The sirens turned on,
And the motors sped away,

But now at least the silent girl,
Is now at peace,
No trouble,
No pain,
But what a shame,
That she felt that it was the only way.
