Such a beatuful flute lies alone on the shelf
It shone brightly, freshly polished without need of help
But with out wind, no music was produced
So he picked it up in hopes of making this flute

He's a mystery
No one ever dared to try
To figure him out

Astonished is what he was as he found he wasn't the only one
Beside himself he felt because he let this happen
Cold shoulder is what he got for his passion
Despair is what he has now

The Flute And I

Such a beatuful flute lies alone on the shelf
It shone brightly, freshly polished without need of help
But with out wind, no music was produced
So he picked it up in hopes of making this flute
A part of him, so he placed his lips
Gently upon it, along with his finger tips
Tenderly he used his fingers, as he began to blow
Closing his eyes as melodies started to flow
Many heard the sound, and were quickly hypnotized
By the cohesion of the two, made all worries subside
They were surrounded, people watched bride and groom
As they played almost as if no one was in the room
He played and played with no end in sight
The only thing he knew was this instrument felt so right
A harmonious pair, lost without each other
That wonder full flute, he held as a lover
