On December 1,1992 I was born.My mom named me Shawntel Maire Scott.My mom's ful name is Arlene Brown Scott.Right til' this very day my mom is still alive and is a christian.My dad's fulll name is Isreal 'Tim' Timothy Scott.And my dad is also still alive.My parents have been divorced for over 18 to 20 years.I live with my mom and i still see my dad every other weekend.But i talk to him every other night.I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers. My sisters names are Shequita, Shatimea, Sherelle, and Shalonda.My brothers their names are Arthur and Tim Jr..Every since i read the poem Phonemenal Women by Maya Angelou I feel in love with poetry.Every day a verse will pop in my head and i will get a pen/pencil and a piece of paper and just start writing what's in my head.My poems really tell you how i feel at that point or what i am wondering about my life or why is something happening at certian point and time.I believe that in poetry there are no rules to writing it you just write your poem however you think it should be written.During my time of writing poetry i have won contests but theres one problem if i have like a ceremony if eother cost to much or i have no way to except my award.Last year I was the Poet of the Year. i couldn't except my award because it was in Chicago and my mom got sick.I have only been arrested once and that was atb school for pushing my teacher but i didn't get charged for it because they said that it was self-defense.I still got sent to Mattie V. Rutherford witch is an alternative school for kids who got in trouble.I went there for 45 days and now i am back at school. I think that i have really changed since then and improved.)
