Urban Explorer

There's another world around us all
secrets lurking in every brick wall
down every dark forsaken alley,
hidden truths left crying out:
feel me, see me...discover me!

Battered architecture, mistreated
awaiting destruction, is soon forgotten.
Crumbled memories atop urban land,
will the spirits live when nothing stands?

How many dreams were dreamed
beside this window, now glassless cold?
Stories dance on perishing floors
untold, yet living...breathing
inside the minds that wonder.

Look to the unknown, ponder...explore,
there is much here left to be found.
