The Eulogy Of The Peacemakers

Screeches heard in the distance,
Sounds of life in rhymes,
Singers crying sad melodies,
For the signs of these awful times,
Wounded doves with broken wings,
In search of peace and Godly things,
Things that some deplore,
So they hurt us more and more,
Screeches in the wind as someone dies again.

And when our limps have gone away,
and we spread our wings to fly again,
they shout once more, rivals protest,
again to shake us from the nest,
to take away our flight,
and leave us with them in the blind of night.
but Moses speaks God's words,
Moses speaks God's words

And when our human breaths are gone,
Our mission of peace will still go on
In hope of Eden,
Offspring shall sing,
In the wait of the resurrection of peace again,
Moses speaks God's words.
