I Was Once Young

I was once young! !
I too was once trapped in the triviality of pondering
I too had once experienced the elation of not caring for anything
Except for the things that benefited me
Or should I say except for the people that cared for me?
The ignorance and carelessness in me were like honey in my mouth
I was once young! !
Those days were like summer in my life, where tempests of life were nowhere to be seen
I was once young! !
Those days are long gone, adversities are upon me the tempests of life are impediments that never vanishes
I would give everything just to go back and live a day or two in those early years
I was once young! !
