sidney hall (The Mad Poet) Poems

From the day we met, she kissed me
She held me in her perfect way
With a warmth that even the sun could not provide
I felt wanted, loved and alive
...

Darkness cursed the Earth and all there in
A blackness so dense concealing every piercing scream
Multitudes huddled in groups scattered on little fragments of land
As the Earth’s crust began to boil, under the feet of the damned
...

She sat tight in the corner with her head on her knees,
As she quietly begged, let me kill myself please.
With a knife tightly gripped in her left hand,
Life as she thought was not going as she planned.

My Heart is torn out, beats it's last and then no more,
My love stands over me, as I lay on the floor.
...

Elevated to a plain of total commitment,
Beyond words of their unrestrained indulgence in sensual pleasures.
A mutual consent as they drew closer,
Arms open in a sign of submission.
...

I lay here mesmerised by the sky so immense,
Observing the stars that are so dense.
The stars must be aligned in this heavenly bliss,
However, I know just by looking, that one is amiss.
...

a smile complements spiritual contentment
...

I did not realise the depth of love,
Until I fell in.
I began to drown,
No matter how hard I tried to swim.
...

Docs words repeated over and over in his head,
“And then I’ll cease to exist, I’ll… be dead.”
He shivered as he lit up a smoke,
The news seemed like an April fool joke.
...

The affliction I have encountered has fastened my lips,
And I am at a loss for words therefore my feelings I cannot express.
However, as I dip the end of my quill into apprehension,
And with urgency of these accounts, I am compelled to...confess.

I’m excited, I got a job
I now work for Bob Bob’s Gob Shop
They asked me to stand outside and sell
These white packets, of what I cannot tell

To The Woman I Love Most

From the day we met, she kissed me
She held me in her perfect way
With a warmth that even the sun could not provide
I felt wanted, loved and alive

Her affection was never measured out
Nor with held but given as a gift more precious than gold
I could not to this day find any fault in her
No matter how hard I tried, her smile was her seal of perfection

She was an artist at everything she did for me
And the picture she painted with caring and passion
Is a place I remember and dearly miss
My world was her purpose, my success her happiness

I remember she knelt before me as if to worshiped me
And I think in her way she did
She bathed me and spoke words coated with honey
I have never felt so secure and safe when I was with her

If only I could have the power to feel her tender ways once more
I know I would be complete until the end of my days
For she is an irreplaceable treasure
A woman I cannot find in any other or compare her qualities

All I can say now is Thank you Lord for this angel I met
And I know I will see her again.
Thank you for My Mum
