When My Soul Began To Crumble

The one that got away
That you didn’t want to get away
When your soul mates trace dissipates
Now how will I find my way
I’m a grown man still I stand and shake
Because my angel flew away
But I had no wings in place
I had a sharp tail and spear
Her love was there
mine was more spread out
than oxygen in the air
My only fear was her not being there
And I suffered through it
lost love is a thick fluid like oil
I’m at the bottom looking for a bubble to breathe through
To survive the torture that I put me through
Why couldn’t I be faithful to you
Thoughts thought through and through with answers due
The solutions I cannot come to
unless I come to you.
