I Love Her

I jot these words on this piece of paper to express my sentiments towards you
I may not be your typical Edgar Allan Poe, but my love for you must always show
When you're not around, you're all I crave; my heart's desire,
For you my heart is on fire, burning love
You're beauty shines like silver in my eyes,
It gleams like gold in my heart and soul
In my heart there's a pocket, inside it is your portrait,
Day and night my heart thirsts for you.
I'm thankful, you're the girl who puts the color in my world
Every moment with you is a sample, a taste of the most fond memories
Everything about you is great,
From the smell of your hair to the splendid smile you wear

Everytime I wake and open my eyes I yearn for your touch
