Past Couple Of Years

I've learned a lot the past couple of years.
I've lost my temper and I've shed my tears.
I've been afraid of what people think,
Brought me down and close to the brink.
At my worst I was fat and heavy,
Now I'm up on my feet, I'm ready.

I am a champion, I fought my own wars.
Didn't wait for opportunity to open doors.
I rose to the challenges set before me,
I never gave up, never ran and flee.
You throw me to the wolves, I'll come out leading the pack.
Now my life is getting up to scratch and back on track.

I have got my job to thank, they made me stronger.
My family and friends to thank, thanks to them I'm here for longer.
I'll never please anyone and why should I care.
The ones who make me, made me well.
Those who try to break me, I'll give them hell.
