Ghosts Of The Night

I've seen the days
And I've seen the dark days
And I've been brittle since
Since I've been absconding
From the light
That shines a lifeline
And I've been like a pain
To people
To my own people
By ingesting every bit of
My own cryptic thoughts
And let you be wondering
Of my abysmal behaviour
Of my not so enduring promises
But you'd always say
Be away from unscathed one's
And since when did I become one?
How did I come to this bewilderness?
How did I become so hapless?
And It doesn't sink in,
Not now, not anymore
I'm too soggy now from my own thoughts
I've been striding around
And swerving almost everytime
In the dark
Dark like black powder in smoke
And with different shade
But still black,
Black like the ghosts of night
Wishing to do evil
And I just hush my inside voice
Let it flow in drops
And keep rowing off every night
Chasing ghosts
Until I become one
And daunt every word I bleed
And every word I don't drawl
So I vaguely remember now
How it feels good
Being rich and deep
Plump and round for
I've been searching a pyre now
And sit around it
And wait for the fire to build
And burn every bone
To set free the confined soul
And fly higher
Above the paths of clouded hell
And muddle through
And fall back in pieces
Back to the fire
To feel a little warmer now
For we'll grow young again
