I Miss You Mother

I am so angry at you
and i shouldn't be
I loved you so much
and you hurt me

You were so selfish
always put yourself first
i never understood why
but now it doesn't matter anymore

Now I need to learn to cry
to get my feelings out
instead i brush it off
and i scream and i shout

I act like i'm fine
i act like nothing happened
inside really im broken
but now it doesn't matter anymore

We had our good times though
every once and a while
it made me feel so special
every time i made you smile

Oh but when we argued
the whole world could hear us
we were two peas in a pod you know
but now it doesn't matter anymore

I know i never told you
but i loved you so much
and what i wouldn't give
for one last argument, one last look, one last touch

It doesn't matter anymore
because you are gone
you were my mother, i was your daughter
we were best friends

I miss you
