Thy Passionate Embrace

On this day sweet afresh I awake with thee,
Thy warm heart lies blossoming open unto me.
Doeth reach my soul for thy passionate embrace,
Thy love my angel offers, this morning's grace.

Wherefore after the heat of the heaven's shine,
A gleaming shower moistens these fruits on thy vine.
And venture in hand upon pastures we gaze,
Together our wealth, but happiness we praise.

Comes softly this eve with thy rich glow serene,
Embraced in silken repose our love deepening.
And in its placid stillness I know thee more,
Each breath of life we share, this I love thee for.
