The Pheonix Heart (Very Rough Draft)
From days of youth i have known her.
Beautiful spirit, wild and free.
Even then the heart had burned.
Still and lifeless it would lay.
Dead it wasn't, nor will it ever be.
For from the ashes it rose and broke free.
Years past, far too many. such a shame.
I again found her and friendship came.
Still beautiful, so kind and smart.
But once again the heart was engulfed with flame.
It hurts so deep to watch it burn.
Its mournful cries pierce me to the bone.
As again it crumbles into a pile of ash.
But my beautiful friend, this I know.
Your heart again, it shall rise.
From the ashes it will spring.
Stronger, so full of love and life.
It will not be kept down nor destroyed.
It shall prove to the world that you my friend,
You are the beauty with the Pheonix Heart!
