I might have better spent my last day

There was plenty of money

On a street in France
On a dark night
Death showed his face
To a princess and her knight

I came upon a fork in the road
Left or right, fate untold
So I stood for a moment,
And pondered my case

Oh, yes it's true, he's quite handsome
Sandish blond hair with blue eyes

Oh, yes he's witty, he makes me laugh all the time
...

Oh my my, Oh gracious me
Have you heard the news, the tragedy

It was unprecedented, a horror for sure
...

The glass of wine, sitting pretty on the table
Mockingly says, don't drink me if you are able

See how crimson rose I appear
...

As the steel spike was being hammered through His palm
You couldn't here the bone break, they were busy in song

A party, an event, something to do
...

I once was a man, with a wife and children
Happy as could be
But, then one day, to my surprise
My wife said something to me

A flash in the pan
That's what I am
