Police At Large

The poor of Kiev held in check;
by policeman striking them, about
the shoulders, arms, back, head and neck
with shoes, held stiffly in their hands
without remorse, lacking compassion.We can
do that here.Too.In America.
No more confederate flags enticing militias to
the streets, urging nationalists contagious
with bigotry; to keep people in place.
Every jailer, every police officer,
every bailiff trained in Kiev; taught to discourage
dissent, protest with the sole of shoes.
