Subham Jain Poems

I sneaked in through the window,
Just when I noticed you wen't all tensed.
No I'm not the Black Monster I look like,
In fact, my sympathy towards you is immense.
...

My thoughts have degraded over the years,
And my Conscience refuses to see the REAL me.
My Mind is a Slave of Love and Fear,
I'm as ugly as anyone could ever be.

A Game For The Enchanted

I sneaked in through the window,
Just when I noticed you wen't all tensed.
No I'm not the Black Monster I look like,
In fact, my sympathy towards you is immense.

Here to free you from your box of depression,
I brought a board and dice.
I present to you the game of Death,
Which frees you from this game of Life.

Oh wont you care to play with me,
I have been lonely like you for long.
Just roll the dice and enjoy the Game,
While I instruct you all along.

Go shoot yourself with that loaded gun,
May be stab yourself with that knife.
Open the box and come sing with me,
As I beckon you out of these moments so trife.

And dont you fritter and waste,
My only and beloved friend Time.
For it is the reason for my existence,
Immortal and enchantingly divine.

You suddenly find yourself rotting in Hell,
Seems like the trance is now gone,
Agitated by the screech of the chiming Bells,
You find yourself all alone.

And now that I have won the Game,
I make my exit with a hush.
To get myself another victim,
By convincing him that,
The Grass on the other side is beautifully lush.
