Withdrawal

Sitting in the dark; insomnia my plague. My brain is so tired, all thoughts are vague. Legs on fire so i keep on running, while everyone i once knew keeps on shunning. I can't stop thinking about the blues, but i still know its no excuse. This thing has got a hold of me. I should have just stuck to the booze. Taboos under a ruse that everything is fine. Never really noticed how close i walked the line, until i fell completely off the map; i leapt and fell completely through the gap. And the fall i took nearly knocked me out. All i want is to live with out.
