For the night is well spent.

Like a dewy drop
Midst the cider-wood.
Lost in airy-nothingness

Stars scurrying in the sky.
Midnight, full of dust.
Clouds and clouds of it rises-
Like footsteps of children

Dew-drops!
Splashed, simple.

Hands, immaculate

Strings of the lover parted,
His melodies-hanging and gifted.

The bottle kicked,

Country clouds skimming the highland shore.
Treading the skinny sky,
Past the stars of delight, blanketing each
Once; for a while.

Take a few strides, pass the crowd, flanked
By aged-familiar houses, faces known
To the patient Church -the cross still standing;
Where daily prayers meet to discuss!
