Demons Within!

I stand in front of the mirror,
Gazing upon my own reflection!
All I see is my sense of insecurity and fear,
Those stone cold eyes deprived of care and affection!

The past haunts me in my sleep,
How cruel life can be!
The wounds have scarred me deep,
I can't recognize the real ME!

The disembodied voices in my head,
Driving me insane!
The vibrant colors in my life, starting to fade,
Oh! Please relieve me from this excruciating pain!

Hiding behind the facade of smiles and laughter,
Sinking deeper into the dark abyss!
Can't determine what's my heart after,
Longing for eternal sleep or divine bliss!
