When the truthful men speak,
The powerful wave them
Like cassava's leaves.
Is it because they have no wealthy
Wealths? . Maybe, they lack influences.
But whatever be the case,
The evil they see can never be just
And the truth they believe in,
Will never sink down the river.

Many at times, I think we are people
Cursed to live in the dark;
Where our eyes only see things that
Are short lived, our consciences
And moral spirit are narrowed into
The world of things which lives to die,
But so soon.

We all went through a saga where our fate
Tasted the vinegar and sugar; all to make
A choice that brightens with peace,
Or the other which wax with storm and torrent.
O! men woe unto men, the heavens bare witness,
No one is selfless and wise to stand on the right path.
