Conversations

And now that I've talked to her,
about things that I care about,
Things that matter to me
Words that describe the essence
of my soul and makes me think about
things like the way I breath and
the way I can feel the silent, humanly noise
that my beating heart makes and the way
it changes when the sound of her laughter fills
the gaps between every two consecutive beats
as if my heart slows down to accomodate
the cadence of her voice, for she makes
me feel alive and infinite,
I mean I have always known I'm alive,
I just forgot how it felt to be so
and now I can feel it in all those moments
I talk to her about all the things that I
have always wanted to say and the best part about
all of this is when she nods her head and smiles
her face lights up the way oceans glow
when the Sun spills on the waves,
cause she knows what I'm talking about and
I know that she knows, truly.
And now every conversation with
anyone else just feels like a drudgery,
hollow and makes me feel that
I'm wasting my breath and
in every conversations that I have,
I find myself searching for pieces of her
and I'm preposterously miserable, yet, I'm happy.
