Her Eyes

her eyes once bewitched me
now they are no more
i long to see them once again
but they are my no more

those eyes for which i long
still haunt me day and night
i wish i could see them once again
but would she let me see them

i am so lonely without those eyes
their memory still creeps into my mind
and now and then i see those eyes
and that glimpse pierces my heart
