Yes I am African,
complete with the thick lips,
endowed with big hips;
I swing them like God intended me to;
Yes I am African,
And No I will not bow out.
Yes I am dark skinned,
complete with the kinky hair,
and the ashy knees,
A brown chocolate godess I am;
It is all I ever want to be,
Yes I am dark skinned
And No i will not step aside.
Yes I am a woman,
complete with the countless shoes,
and the heavens stopping smile,
a "second class" citizen,
in "a man's world";
Yes I am a woman,
And No i will not give in.
Yes I am here,
I, An African Dark Skinned Woman,
