The Girl

I used to know this girl.
She was scared and scarred and nothing
Nor no one could remove her wounds.
Society had branded her an outcast and threw her away.
The girl just sat there.
She sat there while her name was slandered
and misused and she did nothing. She let them
call her names and let them use her, abuse her,
and left her to tackle the pain alone. And she
still did nothing. She was falling behind and
no one helped her or even cared if she caught up.
She sweated in the summer, shivered in the winter and was rained on in spring-all alone.
