Broken Glass

The broken glass I see on the floor tells me of your anger, the empty whine bottle next to it tells me of your pain. You lifeless body on the floor tells me of your suffering. You stand still only for more to hurt you. You dwell in the past so long, that you miss the future. When you try and to get back that of which you have missed, you miss so much more.

I’m filled with so much pain, that you so carelessly caused. I’m filled with so much hurt that you clearly cannot see.

My Love

My love, my life, my everything. Why did you leave me? My heart aches, my heart cries. This love of mine has died. I tried, but still your eyes remain closed. Your skin has gone cold. Your heart beat weakening. Your pulse getting harder and harder to find.

Promises

Promises mean everything to me. I keep all my promises, but once I want someone to keep one to me they break it so carelessly. Right before my eyes, they give me all these lies.

The Tunnel

At the end of the cold dark tunnel, I see a light shining ever so brightly. With the feeling of relief washing over me, I run towards the light. “But wait! Where is it going? ” the faster I run, the farther it goes away.

Souls Burning

Souls burning, hope dying. All around me there critizing. Walk forward just to get knocked down. It must be over now.

What have I done?
I lay here in silence, my hearts aching.
What have I done? I said goodbye, and I had no good reason why..
I said goodbye, now my pain I must hide.

They never really know, how much hurt then can cause you, by a few little words spoken, or looks received..
They never really know, just how much it hurts, that when you want something, its like you have to beg to feel free..
Ive done no wrong, I'm a good kid.. dont you see?
Ive done my very best to be everything you want me to be.. and yet I feel, no matter what I do.. Some how you find some way to be disappointed in me...
