Lord! In the valley of death,
Please bid my soul rest
When storm rises, thy Calvary saves
Gathering shadows, and roaringly clouds,
...
Every Man's Prayer
Lord! In the valley of death,
Please bid my soul rest
When storm rises, thy Calvary saves
Gathering shadows, and roaringly clouds,
hunts my peace of future bliss. Lest I slip, a thousand deep,
And leave my track,
Yet unseen
Without peace, man has no rest
Though in riches, yet in pain,
Of silent cries, from within
Therefore lord, my cry to thee
That my soul, be blessed with,
Perfect peace
Just like that tree, near the river,
Side
Whose worries are, dead of dreadful thirst,
And at last with all hopes,
I may leave behind, all my deeds,
For men to speak, while beyond,
The bridge of no return.
