Forget Me Not.....

I thought it will be easy to forget you
I thought I could let go
The grip of past is heavy
And you is all I know

I try to let time cleanse me
To make me clear and cold
To help me to release you
But you is all I've known

If your love brought me sorrow
And I asked you to go
Than why is such a struggle
To make my heart let go?

Your grip and words now find me
They make me lose my mind
They bring me so much sadness
They shutter me inside

At times I wish I never knew you
At times I wish we never met
But truth is you are truly
The one I loved and can't seem to forget
