The Spectator

Away from it all
in a world of her own,
a woman swims laps
in a pool.

From the deck
she hears 'Feck!
its the girl of my dreams! .
I know it!
and I'm nobody's fool.

He stripped off his clothes,
was about to jump in,
NOt caring too much
for the rules.

'It's alright', he said.
'I know this redhead.
Same town,
just different schools.

'I found you at last! '
You're the girl from my past,
with that giggle,
and a fondness for water.

I've searched everywhere
for a lass with red hair
and I found one, ...
