What's happiness really?
A smile or a laugh,
A simple gesture of emotion.
A simple art of love and devotion.
Black as the starlit sky,
Moist as the heavens earth,
I wear my coat of oil,
For God's greatest creation I know.
All my life i lay there,
Spat on and smothered,
The darkness hovering,
Oh, please leave me be.
Wind blowing through my window,
Cars passing by overhead,
Birds chirp their happy melody,
Sunshine dances on the window sill,
Flying fish, Flying fish where have you been?
I went down to Trinidad to view the scene.
De fisherman in Barbados was lookin fa u.
Maybe they should have came and took a view.
Project after Project,
Assignment after Assignment,
Test after Test,
Is what they give us to prepare.
The sky is high engulfed in all that's weary and doubt.
I close my eyes and I can hear the crickets whisper their party tune.
The still breeze brings an eerie feeling to the stationary trees as the moonlight dances to the sounds of the night.
Mans' mechanics interrupt the night's peaceful slumber.
Since I have known myself I have never shown this emotion.
Not happy or anger or even surprised,
Just an emotion we have called sadness.
Your woe entails me like a sweet romance novel,
The passion, the drama,
Surrounds in sweet sensations,
The pounding, the horror in high definition,
