Dont Give Up

blood drips
she takes a sip
the wine spills
she pops some pills
the cut's so deep
she feels she's on a hill so steep
will she let herself drop
or maybe climb back up to the top?
does she feel any love
or did it fly away with that dark dove?
theres another slice
that stops all the dice
the glass drops and shatters
she picks a piece up and staggers
she wants to so bad
because all she is, is sad
she looks at her open veins
then pulls back on lifes reins
no, not yet
not until everything has been set
she thinks mabye,
just maybe, ill have another baby
you see, she had a miscarriage,
and it ruined her whole marriage
she almost gave up her life
everything she loved and cherished just with a slice of a knife.
