Pi (Dividing By Zero)

3.14159, our world is much like Pi
It will keep on going, long after we all die

But if we multiply ad infinitum, our darkest fears come true
The planet won't support us and chaos will ensue

Yet scholars still debate this and claim we still have years
They use irrational numbers to refute quite rational fears

Like Fibonacci's famous sequence, new damage adds to last
And if we don't negate it, it compounds way too fast

But there's still time to fix this and salvage what is dear
Just do the math to solve for 'why' - the answer will be clear

So 3.14159 26535
Let's ensure our species, is able to survive

As ‘one' is prime for numbers, 'as one' should be our goal
We should stand together, not divide to yield a whole

First we must remember, we're guests on this great earth
Our time a gift to treasure, bestowed on us at birth

We must think about our future and our great grandkids' as well
Leave them something to inherit, and not a burnt out shell

So 3.14159 26535
897932 let's keep the dream alive

You see Pi's a natural sequence, we need not interfere
The earth is not much different and we're just tenants here

Thus if we borrow from it, or disrupt nature's law
Equal effort must be given, to improve it even more

And as we brainstormed theorems, to teach us math and Pi
Why can't we find solutions, to help us all not die?

So stop with all the tangents, angles, schemes and shills
Let's focus less on profit, more planting trees on hills

Let's ensure clean water and mine less fossil fuels
Reduce our carbon footprint, use our minds as tools

We can make this happen, we just have to believe
Our years of greed and excess, behind us we will leave

So 3.14159, it all starts with a 3
And the first step to save us, it starts with you and me
