When I first saw you, it was a scare deeper than any other
A scare so frightful, I felt it for months
Even though I know, I scared you too
Through trials of might and sorrow, we grew
You on me and me on you.

Love is the word, so cliche and impotent
never reaching the magnitude intended
A diverse time indeed, between you and me
great highs, with only subtle lows
because I set you free, forgive me
to the stars with you, but to hell with me.
