Departing is such a sweet sorrow
From dunghills and ghettos
My true life i leave behind
Tears bite my eyes but i wont cry
...

you walked on the road not taken
From the time you were born
Like the shining star of David
You blazed an academic trail
...

who is a mother?
is she better than a father or brother?
she is a caregiver, lover and a comforter
a mother loves like no other
...

She is beautiful that words can't describe
she laughs and Im satisfied from my cravings
we run and dance in the rain we feel alive
I look into her eyes and see my future.
...

Men are like shadows
Moving stealthily across life
waking up at sunrise and
Sleeping at sunset
...

In our quest for fame
We loose sight of how we came
Though we were formerly lame
And looking for who to blame
...

TRUE LOVE.
True love is like a palm tree
That blossoms and flourishes all year round
With its ever green leaves
...

A woman full of wisdom
With a wide range of experience
Telling me wisdom of the ancients
Dating back to her pasts
...

With that great pierce
Blood gushed with great velocity
And fell on the dirtiest land in the city
And it cleansed the worst of men
...

The ocean looked so calm
As men enjoyed themselves
The fishes drank to their fill
And went back to their business
...

With blood shot eyes
They took their weapons
Mortars and shells dropping
Buildings blown to bits
...

This saber toothed monster
on the prowl grinding everything in sight
tearing their flesh with its powerful tooth
in its eyes you see such ferocity
...

In my little imagination
I wondered and pondered in restlessness
The world looking bright and promising
Become bleak and gloomy
...

Owo, kwudi, ego and the name is endless
Everything we do is to get him to solve our needs
Money answereth all things
Many criticise this buddy as the root of all evil
...

When I first opened my eyes
I saw a woman smiling brightly at me
She cradled me in her arms
I was content with being
...

18.

Can I be you?
Shall i lose my personality
Oh how soft i will be
Just being anyone I want to be
...

Upon river Thames
My little boat rowed gently
Causing ripples on the surface of the water
the evening was calm as I glided through the river
...

I've seen two worlds
One is quiet and reserved
no one knows if people exist there
She is indeterminate

Departing

Departing is such a sweet sorrow
From dunghills and ghettos
My true life i leave behind
Tears bite my eyes but i wont cry
The anguish of joy is my lot

Like a traveller i trode this unending journey
With my burdens i carry like a donkey
I have seen the beauty of loneliness
And the sadness of companionship
Fantasy is an opium i crave for
Wandering in this wilderness
Like the Israelites and asking
Questions like the pharisees and sadducees

I shall depart nevertheless
To find a land filled with happiness
With the splendor that nature presents
Watching the lizard run around
Hearing birds sing their songs
The dew polishing the leaves
With a diamond coloured polish
Watching the art of nature
I will find this land someday
