Snow

Upon the still grey background…
One walks through snow.
The wolves howls sound.
Walking on death row.

A fresh footprint in a path to find,
Disappearing past steps rewind.
Snowflake memories flutters to mind,
Slowly melting in my hand of time.

Snowflakes showers in thousands,
When one is but none but to smother.
Grim shadows beckons the snowy sand,
Seeking one snowflake like no other.

Upon the cold window sill cake,
Soft to touch a mirage of snowflake fur.
The warmth of kiss to naked nape,
Rosy cheeks do blush to blur.

Until the first break of dawn,
the light beckons shadows begone,
Quietly, sitting a graceful doe.
Comes a day of golden snow.
