Mistakes

The day i met you i fell in love
You smile to me and i start shaking
I knew by then you were the one
And like by magic my heart start waking

That night i didn't slept
just thinking about you
Staring at the phone
Didn't know what to do

That call never come
And honey you know why
A mistake with the numbers
but i know you tried

The next night i saw you
Coming a bit late
I was there working
With a lot on my plate

My mind was confuse
And My heart was bumping
My body was shaking
You arrived....You were stunning

You gave me a smile
And i look at you
My heart asked my brain
What you going to do?

I knew you were the one
I knew you were my dove
But i was afraid
Of falling in love

But we fell in love
Like it was supposed to be
Because we are soul mates
That...anyone could see

Our love was so strong
We were always in heaven
Then we made mistakes
We jump from 2 to 7

And along the way
I lost all my senses
I turned into something
That broke all the fences

And you tried to warn me
You tried to make me see
That what i was doing
Was wrong...It was mean

But time passes by
And now i can see
You were ALWAYS right
And i couldn't see

I was blind
I was wrong
I was out of my mind
You needed your space
and i needed my time

Mistakes were made
Specially from me
but i learned the lesson
You need to be free

Free from all the things
That i done to you
I feel so ashamed
But i am not confused.

Mistakes were made
They will hurt me forever
However i think
We can be together

Cause i learned my lesson
I learned how to view
I learned how to love
I know how to be with you.
