Silverware

As a kid I was optimistic
As a teen I was disenchanted
A young adult that went ballistic
It's my fault we became addicted
Looking out for a taste of honey
My bee stung arms tell half the story
These two disasters came together
Like cigarettes and schizophrenia

Butterbox-jump into the thick of it
I was admitted when I admitted it
I found time to think about living it
They found me when I decided against it
When she came in she went out of her mind
