Udheep Mukundan Poems

Wonder to see the deepest caves,
but wander along her curves.
I dream to touch the sky,
but blame I cannot fly.
...

Ride a life the way it takes, just flee,
Smooth, rough, easy, troubled it may see,
Be the guide, traveler and the wanderer,
Don't search for the destination or for the wonder.
...

They walk on snow and climb mountains so high,
Never stop at valleys when it hurts their thigh,
Greener grasses fall behind in silence and sky turns blue,
Time pass by so do the winter come without any clue.
...

Let the fire burn bright
On his flesh, oh that sight
When he passes away
Not for his soul
...

Other Side Of The World

Wonder to see the deepest caves,
but wander along her curves.
I dream to touch the sky,
but blame I cannot fly.

I watched the sun rise and set,
Starred at the stars in the dark.
Waited for the summer to pass,
Winter came to be even worse.
No mountains climbed so steep,
No sea seen so deep,
A year passed away,
Still wondering in the dream.

Relaxed by the fatty big job,
Counted penny by penny,
Drank peg to peg,
Smoked the best joint.
Never knew this fast life,
Was the key to the end of joy.

Tied my happiness to the dolphins,
Slackness in the hope let loose my dreams,
Too late to undo, i still wish
I was on the other side of the world.
