Ducktape

What can i do to mend my heart?
The stiches from last time are falling apart.
I took a needle and thread and pierced it right through,
But from the looks of things, i should've used glue.

What can i do to mend my heart?
I need a healing of somesort, a brand new start.
I've used pins and glue, needles and tape,
But i can never seem to make my heart obey.

What can i do to mend my heart?
Pieces chip off, kind of like bark.
I sing with the birds and howl with the wolves,
But interacting with nature does me no good.

What can i do to mend my heart?
I guess i'm here at my last resort.
Ducktape is the thing everyone says to try,
Well here goes nothing, if it fails, i'll die.
