At the Initial Step

After the arrival at Yerwa
For B.A English not kerewa
Handsome I then was, but
A new student wounded by killings.

At the initial stage I was
A kid as well as lad who was
Bewildered with war
And to sink in pestilential aqua.

A man eye-witness of mortals
Of wanton killings from Bolori to custom
Streets flooded with blood
Creaming day and night.

Left nearly what I was sent for
Gorgeous lace not problematic hawk
Great men that envisaged my work
Urged me to remain like an Oak.

Thanks to beloved coordinator
He who looks for your downfall is a traitor
Thanks also to the Great Grand Architect
Of the universe my God the cosmic creator.
